The Fab Four - Captain Chaos, John Brown, County President Tony Jackson, Steve Carswell & Mr Chris County Finals Weekend County Finals Weekend brought mixed fortunes for Courtfield, but there was one outstanding achievement to celebrate. First, the good news. Mr Chris, John B, Chaos and Carsy took on the young Aspatria quartet in the County Fours Final at Whitehaven on Sunday. Every member of the Courtfield rink needed to be at the top of their game, and they certainly were.

Ladies Open Pairs – Thursday 9 July Courtfield hosted the Ladies Open Pairs Tournament, with teams joining us from Wigton, Stanwix, Dalston and Silloth, as well as our own Courtfield pairs. Four games of seven ends were played, with a break for lunch halfway through the day. Wednesday Afternoon Ladies Courtfield travelled to Linton this week to face the combined Subscription/Linton team, looking to keep themselves firmly in contention at the top end of the table. County Cup Heartbreak Tuesday evening saw both the A and B teams in County Cup action, with neither tie lacking in drama. The A team welcomed Dalston, with Tayler, Ian P, Carsy and Kev facing the small matter of Chris and Andy Rogerson, Kenny Johnstone and Stuart Airey.
